The Miami-based electro-funk duo, Afrobeta, joined us in the ATV Records studio – located Melinda’s – to discuss their 15 year musical partnership. The couple also discussed their movie, Birthright, which recently premiered at the Miami Film Festival festival, and was directed by Jayme Gershen. The film documents Afrobeta’s journey to Cuba to play a gig, and how their Cuban-born relatives react.
