We spoke with Jose Bedia, and his daughter Caridad Bedia, at his February opening at NSU Art Museum. The exhibition features sketches done during Bedia’s visits to Africa, along with larger scale works. In the interview, Bedia talks about his experience in Angola as a soldier, and how that led him toward cultural anthropology. He then expands on the role of the anthropologist.
