For the first time in 37 years, the Miami Book Fair will not be staged at the Miami Dade College downtown Campus – yet another victim of Covid19.

But out of the conflict comes opportunity, and the Book Fair is making the most of this conflict by creating a definitive online platform that they are referring to as, “the Netflix for Books.”

Through a reallocation of funds that would normally be used to stage the live, in person, fair, MiamiBookFairOnline.com is set to become a definitive literary resource, enabling the fair to gain an even greater international presence.

We sat down with Lissette Mendez to learn all about it.
