Ashley Peeler:                   If you look at how much plastic or society is consuming and it’s getting more and more. I mean why are cucumbers wrapped in plastic? Why are zucchinis wrapped in plastic? Why?

Ilana Ducorsky:                We’re at the Rag and Bone Store in the Miami Design District. The event was the Artful Detox, No Plastic is Fantastic.

Ashley Peeler:                   Rag and Bone was gracious enough to host us tonight and it coincided with the fact that Rag and Bone has decided to stop using plastics.

Ilana Ducorsky:                What really resonated with me is what Ashley was speaking to about toxins that are found from plastics in the umbilical cord and I’m due to have my first child next month.

Ashley Peeler:                   I hope the people that came today are going to go back home and have a look at all their products in plastic because we’re inundated with plastic today and they’re going to make some conscious choices to eliminate plastics in their lives, the ones that they can eliminate and start using more glass and more reusable materials.
