Stefano Alcantara  is a renowned tattoo artist, but for the Street Art Regatta (StAR), Alcantara brought his talents to the sea. Merging street art and sailing into a kinetic display of expressive art on the water, the Street Art Regatta, features original artworks painted on both sides of racing sails and an award-winning youth sailing team creating an interactive art exhibit on the Intracoastal Waterway. The event is produced by Grace Art, a Fort Lauderdale-based non-profit.

My natural theme even tattoos painting in the sale now is is body. For me was the perfect fit. I’ve been hands. I’ve been eyes. I’ve been. So when. When I have the feed and it’s pretty much what it’s a dance is a movement. Also, the strokes that are in my paintings now, they are very similar that also my tattoo work.

So it’s an interpretation literally of of both worlds. I like the project because it was something that is going to be moving on top of the water. So I think it was a super unique way of of of home that I never did, like painting murals, been canvases, body, car or bike, but never a sell. So for me was super unique.
